The construction of the tensile structure was part of the first program of expansion of Genoa’s exhibition facilities, intended to develop activities related to the International Boat Show and host major events.
It’s a light sailing, inspired to a gull wing, made of textile, supported by six pairs of arched steel beams. It covers a large square used for different functions depending on the season and the programming of exhibitions.
The great cover provides good protection from the weather and provides greater flexibility of use for the presence of prestigious stands of the International Boat Show and big arenas for shows, sporting events and temporary exhibitions.
